Ex- Physician Faces Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have announced that a ex- physician has been charged with carrying out sexual assaults involving 38 individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of acts of sexual assault – some of which involve some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021.
One deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, meticulously examining the evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Police Inquiry
These allegations follow what police described as a “complex investigation” into reported assaults at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the forty-five sexual offences include:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
