During a commanding showing, England wrapped up a further triumph against Albania, with several squad members delivering memorable displays throughout the game.

First-choice XI

Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to perform in the first half before called into action from Arbër Hoxha’s bent shot. One well-timed sliding challenge against an Albanian attacker showed his game intelligence. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Tested by the opposition's main danger through Hoxha. Played in a central role initially later drifted out wide once Saka entered the fray. Seven

John Stones Pushed forward when in possession, as he has done in the past. At times lacked urgency when carrying play and the experiment was shelved after the break. 6/10

Dan Burn A constant threat at set pieces, as always, but may be a replacement to Stones at the back as opposed to alongside him. A loose distribution later in the match nearly resulted in an opener from Albania. 6

Nico O’Reilly A further composed showing by the 20-year-old following his debut against another side. Saka did not capitalize on the opportunity from a gorgeous touch over their defense. The left-back spot is his to lose at this stage. 7/10

Adam Wharton A debut start in an England shirt. Slightly careless in possession however his whipped set-pieces posed a danger. A handy game manager for the manager to utilize versus teams who drop deep. Cautioned after a reckless challenge. Six

The midfielder Deliveries from dead balls and free kicks caused problems. Had room to drift down the left flank yet found himself offside upon receiving with a chance to score. Awarded a merited substitution after an hour. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Played in a high role down the right while also did plenty of the hard yards. Displayed flashes of quality but scuffed an attempt wide. Replaced in the closing stages for Rogers, his rival, after receiving a caution. Seven

The winger Was presented with the team's best chance before halftime, his shot excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. As a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to provide width on the right but his crosses into the box were inconsistent. Replaced late in the match. Six

The captain The difference-maker scoring 77th and 78th goals at international level. The opener a trademark close-range tap-in while the second a superb finish with his head having drifted away off his defender. Now 32, he continues to improve and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him leading the line. Eight

The attacker Struggled to influence play from the left. Had a good opening after being played in by Bellingham however Strakosha made the save. His replacement produced a bigger an impact in his place. Five

• Rashford (for Bowen with 15 left) Energetic after coming on and provided the captain's brace with a brilliant delivery into the area, Seven
• Anderson (on for Wharton in the 75th minute) Appears comfortable so soon, 6
• Rogers (for Bellingham 84) Not enough time to make an impact, 6/10
